Based off the Five Things podcast by Tara Anderson, this autobiography is told through the perspective of five personal objects, specifically five clothing items.
An editorial coffee table book where it combines photography, 3D illustration, and typography to help bring the narrative to life. There are five distinct sections to cover each personal object and experiences.
Since the narrative of the book was very personal, I wanted to contrast the book’s content with the stark and editorial imagery throughout the book. I picked a system of colors that represented my narratives and complemented the personal objects, which were emphasized in the imagery. In addition, I wanted to place further emphasis on the color through a strong usage of white space.
