Shoptiques is an online platform that allows shoppers to discover the world’s best local boutiques. These boutiques are handpicked and filtered from various locations throughout the world.
The approach to this redesign is to evoke sophistication, elegance, and a sense of adventure, just like a typical Shoptiques customer. These attributes are embodied through the bright colors and elegant type treatment.
Throughout the design process of the Shoptiques rebrand, it was important for me to keep in mind of Shoptiques’ major competitors. One of the major elements that I added to reinforce this idea was the introduction of illustrations to the overall branding. I decided to focus the branding and advertising on the unique idea that Shoptiques collects clothing from all over the world. I wanted the advertising to both highlight the location and the quality of the products.
